BODY DISAPPEARS

BODY DISAPPEARS is a conceptual, poetic dance based on the imagery of the American novel The Catcher in the Rye. Drawing a parallel to my own life I was inspired by people in my life and my inability to let them go and therefore keep them in the abyss of my nostalgia, just a shadow of longing for a body to meet another body. Sounds of ryes’ murmur and echos from the bottom of the cliff circling back to you. Just one ray of light embodying my consciousness while darkness hides all the fragments that flash before my eyes and my willingness to keep them forever. At the end, I guess we start thinking of the beginning.
